Telehealth is a collection of means or methods for enhancing health care, public health, and health education delivery and support using telecommunications technologies.
NQ Eye Specialists provides a tele-ophthalmology service, which is the delivery of specialist Ophthalmology eye care services to Indigenous and/or remote communities by means of modern interactive telecommunications technology. Video conferencing technology enables the patient and the specialist to see and hear each other during the consultation (i.e. Real-time Telemedicine).

Follow these Quick and easy steps to book a TeleHealth Appointment:
1. First time users will be asked to register and provide a Medicare provider number. Register for Telehealth >
2. If you have previously registered you can access the booking function by entering your username / password. Login to Telehealth >
3. View and select available days on the calendar. Book Telehealth Consultation >
4. Select an available appointment timeslot from the drop-down menu below the calendar.
5. Please complete the online form and click ‘send’. Required fields are indicated.
6. Your confirmation of appointment will appear on the screen. You will also receive a confirmation of appointment by email.
You can cancel your appointment 24 hours prior to your scheduled consultation by calling: 1300 856 074
You will receive notification of your appointment cancellation by return email within 1 working day.
